I'd imagine that most of you will have already seen this and this via Harry's Place, but whether you are against ID cards or not, it made me laugh out loud. Absolutely brilliant!
When I wrote the earlier message, I hadn't seen you'd changed your mind on the government's scheme; good to hear, and thanks for arguing the case. Most supporters of the scheme lack the honesty to admit that it ought to be obstructed on its demerits.
The Major General one is pretty good; it's obvious the guy "gets" it, particularly the "government epistemology" line.
