Norman Geras has already made some good points in the defence of the atheist humanist viewpoint of Dawkins new Channel 4 show (which starts tonight at 8pm) that the Guardian's Madeleine Bunting has attacked. Geras responded with this;
"we atheist humanists can draw on everything in the entire known universe and the whole human story within that - including, even, the story of religion, every religion, and the stories which those religions all tell - as part of our narrative of what it is to be human. Think about it?"
I look forward to Dawkins show and congratulate Channel 4 in being brave enough to take on the religious bullies who suppress our free speech.
