Tory Lords told to piece off!

In secret plans revealed in the Times today, Labour is considering finally getting rid of life peers, 20% at a time, replacing them with elected representatives. Labour are hoping their fudged plans will finally get rid of this continual un-elected Tory hold on power. I'm more doubtful!

The Lords opposed Tory legislation an average of 13 times per session from 1979 to 1997 but in 1997-2001 defeated Labour 88 times.
