Labour Campaign for Electoral Reform at the Conference.

LCER is involved in three fringe events, all at the Royal Albion Hotel, 35 Old Steine, Brighton. These events are free and open to all. No Conference credentials required.

Sunday 25 September: 8.30 pm 'How the Voting System threatens Labour'
with Neil Kinnock, Polly Toynbee, John Denham MP and Fiona Mactaggart MP. Chaired by David Lipsey.

Monday 26 September 6.30 pm 'What puts women off politics: could electoral reform fix it?' A discussion based on research conducted by Opinion Leader Research with Barbara Follett MP, Jackie Ashley, Jenny Westaway (Fawcett Society) and Christine McCartney (Electoral Reform Society).

Wednesday 28 September 8 for 8.30 pm 'Reformers Reception': come and meet Labour MP supporters and other electoral reformers. Organised by LCER, supported by Make Votes Count and the Electoral Reform Society, Compass and New Politics Network, hosted by Anne Campbell. Refreshments provided.
